Social Media

You can play a role in helping to spread the word about World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD). Using social media is an excellent way to engage our community around this important and timely subject.

A fact sheet, “Using Social Media Guide To Promote World Elder Abuse Awareness Day” has been developed (EN/FR) in collaboration with the Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse to promote #WEAAD2019. The Guide includes tips on using media as well as sample posts.
